Good Day everyone. We normally learn the ABCs the usual way, start with A and proceeding in order till we get to Z.

This is how we live life, going according to custom; One thing I want to touch on today is doing things pro-actively, lending a hand to someone whom you know is in need before they ask you.

“But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you” – Matthew 6: 3-4

Be careful not to pity anyone, for you do not know the secret battles that they are fighting, also, remember that we each have our own areas of strength where we can give and change lives. It could be giving your time to someone you know really needs to talk or possibly babysit for them so that they can get that alone time with God and reflect on things without worry or distraction.

Never take for granted the material blessings you have, think of ways you can bless someone else.

If you have items of clothing you have not worn in say 12-24 months, chances are you will not be wearing them this year as well, so you do not need them, donate them to people whom you know will appreciate them and wear them with joy.

Do not say, “No these clothes are still in excellent condition, I cannot give them away…” We are all God’s children and deserve the best, remember, whatever measurement you use on others, God will use on you.

When you cook a meal, you know your family very well, if they will not eat the left overs the next day, do not wait for the food to get spoiled, place them in a container, warm them up in the morning and on your way to school or work, give them to someone who is hungry.

Compassion is a virtue; If you pray for someone, someone you know is going through a difficult time and can use God’s hand to be at work in their lives, do it with compassion and God will hear your prayers. In fact, they will experience God’s power to the point whereby you will witness them praising God for their breakthrough for they know, Only God can move mountains.

‘Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.
They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.” ‘- Mark 12: 43-44

May the Peace of Our Lord be with you all my brothers and sisters, whatever talents God has blessed you with, make use of them and He shall multiply them.

Stay blessed so you can continue to be a blessing to others. Have a lovely day.
